A new survey shows that one out of four adults didn’t read a single book last year.

  3. My Dad is one of them. Actually, I’m surprised it’s not more. Many men do not read any books…ever. It’s sad really.

    This actually isn’t all that surprising to me. I rarely if ever see other students at school reading (something other than a textbook).

  7. Since the majority of adults who do read are women… And since, the leading genre among said readers are religious books…

    Does this mean all of us men who read theology books are more feminine than the average male?

    Nah, it just goes to prove the theory that in the history of English speaking peoples, never before has there been an age in which literacy is so prevalent, and yet the mind is so uncultivated.

    P.S. I wonder if they were including comic books and magazines as broad definitions of “books.”
