We haven’t had any discussions about American Idol thus far this season. Who do you like?
For the guys, I think my two favorites are David Archuleta and Michael Johns.
For the girls, um, I really can’t point to a favorite. None of them stand out to me.
I do know that Amanda Overmyer, Kady Malloy and Danny Noriega need to get the boot — and quickly.

From the NY Times:
Jack Bauer will return to save the world on “24” — again — but somewhat later than expected. And Michael Scott, the comically obtuse regional manager on “The Office,” will not be serving up any original cringe-inducing comments after next week.
As television and movie writers entered the third day of their strike against Hollywood producers yesterday, the walkout continued to complicate matters for the networks.
Fox, the first to announce revisions to its prime-time schedule because of the strike, said it would indefinitely postpone the start of the seventh season of “24,” which had been scheduled for January, to ensure an uninterrupted 24-episode season.

Kiefer Sutherland will spend 48 days in jail for drunk driving.
Jack Bauer would be ashamed of you, Kiefer.

Another season of 24 is in the books. I was expecting some big twist at the end, but it never happened. I’m not convinced that Old Man Bauer was still on the oil platform when it was destroyed, and think there’s a chance he could have managed to get away on the boat. Anybody else think that’s a possibility, or am I grasping?
What did you think of the final episode?
I was also relieved to hear in the promo that next season of 24 will be the best one yet — because I was a little concerned that the new season might be inferior. I’m happy to get it on good authority that next year will be the best so far.
Sarcasm off.

Tonight’s episode was one of the better ones from the past few weeks, I thought.
Lisa Miller was sure a lousy actor. You’d think, given the circumstances, that she could have put on a better show than what she did — especially since she had lots of practice doing so with the VP.
I’m glad to see that Bill Buchanan will be back next week. Any predictions for what’s going to happen?

I find it a little hard to believe that CTU was so easy to penetrate. So long, Milo.
I knew Jack’s daddy would be back in some capacity. Think we’ll get to see Jack kill his pop by season’s end?

After bursting onto the scene earlier this seasons as a Grade-A slimeball, Ricky Schroeder is actually turning likeable.
Some questions:
1. Why does Lisa Miller allow the VP to threaten her like that? Couldn’t she threaten to reveal their relationship, thus implicating him as a traitor as well? Seems like that would be the logical step for someone in her predicament.
2. Anybody else get the feeling that we haven’t seen the last of Jack’s dad yet?
3. Where’s Chloe?

I thought tonight’s episode was pretty good. I hate to see Bill Buchanan take the fall, and I’m hoping that issue will be resolved before season’s end — but I’m not counting on it.
Now some obvious questions: What’s wrong with Audrey? Who’s the spy? What happens between Bill and Karen?

Noah Daniels has more lives than Bill Clinton. He’s the Teflon Vice President.
Jack goes rogue next week. Should be interesting.

Jack single-handedly manages to secure the nukes and save the world. So what else is new?
I’m a little surprised by the development with Audrey, as I figured that would be a plotline for another season. Is this the first time there have been two seemingly unrelated plotlines going on in the same season? Pretty convenient how the Chinese managed to call Jack immediately after he saved the world.

I’m still not convinced Milo isn’t dirty. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’m wondering if his little gaffe involving the security parameters wasn’t done intentionally. We’ll see.
Tom Lennox is quite the conniver. I think the show’s writers have done a good job with his character.

Anybody else have a hard time believing that Wayne Palmer is suddenly A-OK? The guy was in a coma and near death, but now he’s fine and ready to resume his duties. Yeah, OK.
Interesting little exchange between Milo and Ricky Stratton/Schroeder, plus the guy from division. I wonder where that’s going to lead.

So Nadia turns out to be the mole — or at least that’s what they’re leading us to believe. I’m not convinced.
I thought this week’s episode was pretty intense. Is the plotline with Jack looking for Audrey’s killers going to happen in this season or next?

Well, well, well. From the previews of next week, it appears that there’s a mole in CTU. Who’d have ever imagined? There’s a twist we’ve never seen before on 24.
Who do you think it will be?
Looks like Charles Logan finally got his. Good riddance.

Almost forgot about posting this. What’d you think of last night’s episode? I thought it started out slow but picked up toward the end. The VP is a slimeball, no?
