Pat Robertson is a muscle-bound he-man
May 25th, 2006Pat Robertson can leg press 2,000 pounds. He says so himself. What’s amazing is that by doing so, Robertson, at 76 years of age, shattered the all-time Florida State University leg press record, set by Dan Kendra.

I suggest watching the video its great, I was to busy watching his legs and facial expressions to count the weight. But I am pretty sure that his legs moved about a quarter of an inch during the workout….
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
I thought you would enjoy the story.
Why is his body so tan?
Chuck - Didn’t you read the article! It’s because when tanning at the beach, Pat has his head buried in the sand!
2,000 pounds? Is that 1,000 pounds per leg time 2?
And how can he do it with that foot stuck in his mouth?
OK, Tim… How do you expect those of that read your blog at work to be able to continue that practice with THAT picture at the top of the page!?!
That’s just asking for comments from passers-by. Where could I even start to defend that picture?
Is this the beginning of a steroid scandal in the televangelism circuit?
I’m not charismatic so I guess I couldn’t start doing the “Pat Robertson Shake”.
I believe that he could move that much weight….
1. With his tongue
2. With his faith (he better be able to do that with the convoluted gospel he preaches)
3. With his pocketbook
4. With his ego
But with his legs…no way.
Crazy!! DO the exaggersations never end? No, they simply move on to new topics!
By the way did everyone notice the closing line in the story from the first link? Here it is:
His doctor, by the way, has leg pressed 2,700 pounds. It is not nearly as hard as the authors of these reports make it out to be. We have multiple witnesses to the 2,000 pound leg press, plus video of the 10 reps of 1,000 pounds.
So, not only has Pat broken the record but his doc has broken it by an even greater margin!
I think he could bench press 2,000 pounds with that mouth of his, too.
