Any problems?
January 31st, 2008Is anyone having problems accessing my site? I’ve got one person telling me that something’s wrong and that my site won’t load at all, but on every computer I’m using everything looks fine. It loads fast for me, but there aren’t any images (I assume you haven’t moved them to your new server yet).
No images, huh? They have been moved. So on the Dana Jacobson post a couple of days ago, you’re not seeing her picture? Is anyone else seeing it?
When you swap servers, it is just taking the site a while to populate the internet with the new server, etc.
I had the same thing happen to me when I moved servers. Within a couple of days things will settle down to normal.
And for the record, looks normal to me.
Looks fine here. Maybe the person needs to Refresh the cache.
We figured out the problem. He has cleared his cache, but his office uses an exchange server that is probably caching the website information. So, until his office server’s cache is cleared, he’s going to see an old version of the site.

As of right now, I cannot access any part of your site from any computer anywhere in the world. I cannot access this post and cannot post any comments either. Good luck to you. If you would have used bluehost.com, I could have posted a comment here.
If bluehost.com would have hosted me for $3.67/month, I’d have used them. Unfortunately, you wanted to refer me to a provider that was going to charge me about twice that amount.
Looks good on my home PC. I will have to check it out on my craptastic Mac at the news office.
