Heath is good. Did you know that the Heath bar originated in Robinson, Illinois? A local guy sold it and then Hershey’s bought the original recipe. There is a Hershey’s factory there. The hotel I stayed at was next to the factory and it smelled like chocolate. I think I was salivating my entire visit.
Special Dark is very good. Why is it harder to find it than a plain Hershey’s bar? I usually only see it at Drug Store chains like CVS or in the miniatures bag. Plain Hershey bars are boring.
The reason why Special Dark is so rare is because it’s so rare to find people who actually like the bitter taste! Plain Hershey bars are excellent. No, Amy, I didn’t know that they originated in Robinson, but I did know that for years Paydays were made in Centralia, IL. Payday originated in Minneapolis and was named after the day that they were trying to come up with the name. It was payday at the candy company, so they went with that name and it stuck (no pun intended).
I hear that the Special Dark are Ray Nagin’s personal fav. Tony you should probably contact Pat Robertson, he seems to have a pretty good handle on the prophetic implications of current events.
Tony,
It depends on which eye the bubbles formed in.
Bubbles in the left eye indicate that the coming of the Lord is closer than it’s ever been.
Bubbles in the right eye signify that another Left Behind themed book is soon to be released.
If you have bubbles in both eyes, I doubt you are able to read this, so it doesn’t mean a thing.
I know I avoid Zero (from some childhood experience, I suppose), but I don’t remember what it tastes like. They still make Whatchamacallit, but not Marathon, right? Zagnut’s not bad. I like Valomilk occasionally.
I intentionally did NOT tell anyone which eye the bubbles formed in for fear that I might be unduly labeled.
I’ve got another question…..
1. If faith-healers can get a vision of someone being healed
2. And if said faith-healers are able to talk with detail about the nature of the healing
3. And if this vision is supposed to have come from God
4. Why can’t these faith-healers tell the names and street addresses of these countless folks getting healed?
OH! Special Dark. I love it! Now that y’all mentioned it I am going to have to go get one. Dang . . . more calories than I wanted today. Oh well.
Anyway, what I am wondering is what kind of impact do some of you think (who have kept up with it) is the controversy with McLaren and his latest article going to have on Emergent. Tony Jones has predicted that this is going to be a quiet year for Emergent, but now that McLaren has gone and ticked off many evangelicals (again) and the news agencies have been reporting on Emergent churches (with member saying and doing all kinds of ridiculous things in interviews), is Emergent going to be pummelled as bad as it was last year and will they finally submit to some actual dialogue with Evangelicals about things they are doing/saying/believing that are unBiblical?
I doubt that the Emergents will enter into dialogue with anyone who is more conservative than they are. They seem bent on moving closer the world and farther from evangelicalism.
Sure you were Scott- I was just curious which distro you had.
Tyler, I read for hours on which linux distro to install. Everybody had their own preference, so I had to choose based on what the reviews were. I chose Ubuntu 5.10. I love it so far! The only problem I have is that it doesn’t recognize my battery (toshiba satellite notebook l15-s104 1gb ram, blah blah blah). I did get my built-in wireless working through ndiswrapper finally. Nearly any program in windoze has a comparable app in linux.
The best way to eat Reeses cups is to put them in the freezer for a couple of hours. Next, about 15 minutes prior to getting them out, pour a big glass of milk into a glass tumbler. Put it in the fridge. When the milk and glass are appropriately cold, get the Reeses’ cups out and enjoy! Especially good on a hot summer night, or if you live in Florida like me, any time of the year!
Liux is cool. The live distros are fun to mess with. I have a hard time grasping a lot of the concepts. I still use windows but I’m considering migrating to OSX. I still toy with the linux Idea. I do run the smoothwall Linux router here at home. Its very nice! Do you dual boot your system Jermy? If you did you could run the winders and linux. Aslo take a look at linuxtracker.org. They have like 997 different distro’s shared through bittorrent.
I’m am still looking for Castle Anthrax. Do you know the way?
Nee! Nee! I am a dual-booter. I have a couple of proggies I still need to run under the doze, so I just select my OS at the grub menu. By the way, it’s Jeremy.
Hey, remember that witch with a “b” Cindy Sheehan? Well, she’s back to try and get more attention to fill her ego because her last ploy didn’t work out. Check this out: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,183108,00.html
Now, my favorite line is this: ‘”If I decided to run, I would have no illusions of winning, but it would bring attention to all the peace candidates in the country,” she said.’
In other words, “I really don’t care about all the other peace candidates in the country, I’m just trying to get more air time on CNN, the Communist News Network.”
Oh, well darn. I’m going to bed now, us folks on the coast are tired now that it’s about 10. Well anyway, I won’t spoil it for you, but just enjoy it, it’s a great episode.
Heath is my favorite candy bar. Butterfinger and Payday are tied for second.

Hershey’s Special Dark! God told me it was the best, and if anyone disagrees just remember what He did to Sharon.

Fun information about Payday. Do you remember the chocolate Payday? I thought those were pretty tasty.
I need some theological perspective from all you spiritual bloggers…..
I blew my nose the other day and bubbles formed in my eye as a result. Can one predict eschatological events from such a happening? Please advise.
I hear that the Special Dark are Ray Nagin’s personal fav. Tony you should probably contact Pat Robertson, he seems to have a pretty good handle on the prophetic implications of current events.
Remember Whatchamacallit? Or Marathon?
Anyone ever had a Zagnut? Now that’s a pretty tasty candy bar.
Or Zero? I wasn’t too crazy about that one?
A Zero is better than nothing.

On a similar note….
1. Why do faith-healers wear glasses and toupees?
Anyone read Tim’s column yet? It’s a good read,………..
worth the time.
Thanks very much, Bob. And Brett, thanks to you as well for what you said.
Allow me to invite everyone to my new site. Same great content…just a new home for it.
And update those bookmarks!

My grandpa wears dentures. I am switching to linux (ubuntu).
Hey Jeremy, did you ever talk to Scott G. about the Linux thing?
Why Ubuntu? I’ve found Suse to be easy to install and use. I’m going to try Redhat workstation next. Any one read about OSX vulnurabilities? http://www.zdnet.com.au/news/security/soa/Ancient_flaws_leave_OS_X_vulnerable_/0,2000061744,39234678,00.htm
Also who here runs apple and if you do, do you run virus scanners?
My new favorite is Reeses’ Sticks

He did Tim. I don’t think I was much help though.

Where have all the bloggers gone?
I’m here Jeremy, just not much to say latley.

Awww…. come on Tim! Give us a 24 thread so we can talk about the show. I’m getting pumped! Awesome show, awesome show.
I’m taping it and watching it after my son goes to bed. I’ll post a new thread at about 10 p.m. Central time.
