You guys have to check this book out. Here is a quote from the book: Besides shooting out a big blank from your buttock, you can feel as if your root chakra leaked sweet hot mucus.
Maybe Ben, maybe a black lostie, maybe Jack, Kate, and the stiff are the only remaining losties left that haven’t died mysteriously. But, IMHO, Ben.
Since we didn’t see Desmond’s latest premonition, could he have been lying to Charlie and it was really he (Des) that was supposed to go to the Looking Glass and contact Penny? My brain hurts.
I had a humerous encounter at the wig store yesterday. I wrote a note about it on my blog. This is probably the last weekend my wife will have hair. I asked her if I could borrow her wig and cut it to fit me when she’s done with it. In 6 months, she’ll have more hair than me.
My bet’s on Ben, but I could see it being Locke or Sawyer, too. Then again, if it is a flash-forward, there’s still plenty of time for somebody else to do something really bad. I think it’s interesting that the deceased, Kate, and Jack are all relatively centralized in their (maybe) post island life.
Big question: what if Ben was right when he told them that whoever Naomi is there with wants to harm them? A temporary banding together of survivors and Others, perhaps?
Last night I went with a friend to see the first showing of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. I’d say it’s the best one yet. If you don’t have a big family, it’s worth the 8 dollar ticket. But if you do, just rent it or buy it on DVD when it comes out.
Tim, I’m still thinking about “hobo-ing” it around San Antonio. Scott & Steve will have their wives there and my other buddies are not going. So here’s my research:
There’s a YMCA less than a mile from the convention center that will honor my local membership - open from 5:30am to 9pm.
I could use their lockers to stow my stuff and their facilities for hygiene needs, including the whirlpool! Sleeping space is the only concern. I got a price on a cargo van from Enterprise that would serve as a mobile room, but if I did that I would be just as well to get a room.
Also, I’m thinking about traveling light and just buying new clothes while I’m out there. That handles the “wrinkled clothes” concern.
This thing may catch on! Already thinking about ways to hobo around Louisville for the T4tG conference next year.
I just wanted to say to avoid all the BBQ’s, Vegas trips, and so on to celebrate memorial Day. Instead, go to your local celebration held by your city or county and shake a veteran or current officer of our military and express our gratitude and appreciation for fighting for us.
Once you encounter a vet that is size-appropriate for you to shake, the best technique is full-on body-hug, jumping up and down. The Hardee’s cow/milkshake commercials have some good pointers too. They (the vets, not the cows) may act like they don’t like it, but under that crusty and weathered exterior, they’re being torn up inside. (The cows really DON’T!)
For those bigger vets that exceed your man-on-man shaking capacity, shaking their hand (only) will suffice. They’ll understand. (I strongly discourage the game-time appropriate teammate butt-slap. Vets just don’t get that.)
…I echo Yepiz’ sentiments though.
Thanks to any of you boys and girls that sacrificed time, family, and more to protect little, ole’ me.
Tim, I was reading the article in your In the News section by Albert Mohler and thought I would like to discuss it but there is really no place for that but here. So I propose that maybe each time you update the In the News section you add a new post titled In the News and allow us to discuss any/all articles that you have listed in the news. I think that would make that section more relevant and interactive. Just a thought… what do you think?
I understand your point j razz, but the problem is that I don’t update “In the News” all at once. Sometimes I simply add one item to it, sometimes I add three or four items to it. I’m not going to take the time to put up a new post every time I add something to the box — because that really defeats the point of having it there at all.
So, I’d suggest that if there’s something in the box you’d like to discuss, simply bring it up in “Open Blog Friday.”
It is told that there was once a boy named Sue!
Today marks the 30th anniversary of Star Wars which was originally released on May 25th, 1977. So how does everyone plan to celebrate?
I’m dressed like Jack Bauer and will be going around doing whatever I want, all for the protection of the sheeple!
Flashback, flash-forward, or an alternate reality?

Don’t ask…. but if you want to buy it, I am sure Time wouldn’t mind you using the Amazon link to the top right to purchase it.
j razz
I say flash-forward, but the idea of an alternate reality would be pretty cool if done correctly.
Naomi- savior or liar?
I say Flash-forward too. But that doesn’t mean it’s the end result. Maybe they get off and do go back. Should be interesting to watch.
Naomi–who knows right now?
Who’s in the coffin?
Semifinal Match #2 of “Who’s the baddest J.B. on the planet?”:
Col. James Braddock - of the Missing in Action films; portrayed by Chuck Norris
vs.
Jack Bauer - of ‘24′; portrayed by Kiefer Sutherland

whatever happened to Hurley’s insanity?
The island cured him.
Did either of you see Jacob? (Ep from 2 weeks ago)
Yeah, I saw the screencap, it kinda looked like Locke.
Not Locke.

Absolutly beyond hilarious –

Klay,
Talk to jrazz. He’s spent some time “hobo-ing” it around Nashville and might be able to give you some tips.
I just wanted to say to avoid all the BBQ’s, Vegas trips, and so on to celebrate memorial Day. Instead, go to your local celebration held by your city or county and shake a veteran or current officer of our military and express our gratitude and appreciation for fighting for us.
That should be bulk of our “day off.”

…by the way…
Moving sucks!
(have we determined if we can say “sucks” on TimEllsworth.com? This seems like a question for Scott Gladin, founding member of T.U.R.D.)
I’m not the one that has the power to ban you. That’s the head-honcho’s job.

Or, jrazz, you can always email me and request that I post on something I’ve included in “In the News.” I’m always happy to consider doing so.
Will do that too.
