Merry Christmas Tim. And Merry Christmas to all of Tim’s readers. I enjoy the conversation we have on all of the topics. May the Lord bless each of your families this Christmas season and throughout 2008.
To anyone who watched the game last night. Is it just me or is Bryant Gumball terrible at broadcasting games? He does not seem to even know what is happening in the game. When I was a kid he did all the games for NBC and was pretty good. He left to do the today show. I think he needs to go back and leave football for someone else.
Verne, Bryant is indeed awful at calling games but he more than redeems himself with the outstanding work that is “Real Sports”. It is simply the finest show about sports around.
And I echo your sentiments, Verne. I look forward to coming to this blog daily to see what you all think and I enjoy the converation immensely.
Merry Christmas to all the readers of this blog. Speaking of blogs, I have begun a new blog. It won’t come close to equaling the blogs the rest of you have, but I’m going to give it another shot. I call it “Life and Other Distractions.” Click on my name to visit.
This is the only guy who will call you to rub it in that you are at work and he is not. There is a book on humility by C.J. Mahaney by that same title Tim. Sadly, I think you already own it.
When I am out of the country in a couple of months I will be sure to give you a few phone calls and send you a few emails to remind you that you are not! On second thought, maybe I need to reread that book as well.
I’m having a “pick ‘em” contest for the first round of the NFL playoffs. There is a prize involved. So if any of you are concerned about maintaining your amateur status….
“Dangling participle.”
Merry Christmas all.

Merry Christmas, everyone, may we all come to love the reason for the season a little more.
Merry Christmas to all. And I do mean Merry Christmas and not Happy Holidays.
Merry Christmas Tim…blessings to you and the family.
Merry Christmas everybody!
