I pity the fool

September 15th, 2005

Mr. T is doing his part to help Hurricane Katrina victims by donating clothes and money — and he’s sworn off his gold chains.

“Because of the situation we’re in now (after Katrina), I told myself, ‘No, T, you can never wear your gold again,’” he said. “It’s an insult to God.”

I thought all that gaudy jewelry was simply an insult to my eyesight!

    : )

Seriously, though: Why now? What is it about the hurricane that now makes wearing enough gold chains to stock Fort Knox an insult to God? Is it because, somehow, now, it’s politically incorrect to wear it?

    I truly don’t get it.

If T truly wanted to help, he would’ve got Murdock, Dishpan, BA, Hannibal, Face, and the rest of the A-Team in the Van and to look for survivors. The A-Team was a self-proclaimed “…group of soldiers of fortune for any good people being oppressed or wronged by someone.”

Some braniacs in this country would actaully apply their job title to the Katrina situation when they blame the President or white people or whatever the talking head told them to think.
