24: Hour 12
March 6th, 2007Almost forgot about posting this. What’d you think of last night’s episode? I thought it started out slow but picked up toward the end. The VP is a slimeball, no?

Slimeball extraordinaire.
I was really proud of Tom Lennox–smart guy. But they’re going to try to bury him.
It was a great episode, however, I thought Jack was a little lacking in judgment when he just stormed into the Russian consulate like old John Wayne. Not real bright. And the guy who was willing to do the right thing gets a bullet in the head. Why did Jack not call CTU right away, instead of walking toward the door? Why did the Russian guy have to go into another room to call CTU? Come on, guys, we are smarter than that!
Next week looks pretty good. I think Tom and Karen are going to end up being good friends after all this is over. And I think it will be good to see Jean Smart back, along with Aaron Pierce. I’m not too excited about Ricky Schroder coming in as head of operations, but hey, you gotta grow up sometime.
A-hummm.
Jack looks better in a suit. Like a James Bond.
Jack is going to spend time in a russian prison after season 6.
Rick Schroeder will be Jack’s sidekick and eventually replace Jack.
Nobody at CTU was doing anything to fix the problem of the nukes.
Russian Around review from EW.com is pretty good.

Pretty soon Audrey will be back!
I thought last night’s episode was Boredom City (though I was glad to see Lennox actually DOES have a backbone in there) — right up until the previews.
Martha and Aaron are back! Yay!
For some strange reason, I love the torture that tends to take place on 24. So I have to say that the scene with the cigar cutter will go down as one of my all time favorites.
I liked last night’s episode. This is usually the point in seasons-past when it starts to get really good.
VP is a slimeball, but I bet that he ends up being a good guy.
Jack’s TortureTime/episode ratio is pretty much 1:1. It’s gone from once or twice a season to once or twice an episode this season..
Is Wayne gonna make a return this season or not?
The VP is bantha poodoo. It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s the evil Sith Lord behind the attempt on Palmer. That actor does a dang good job of just…looking…evil.
I expect Season 7 to be Jack in Russia. Then maybe at the end, instead of going back home, he goes to China to get revenge for the movie.
Yes, I know the essence of television is its repetitiveness, to expect the same from characters, but this is ridiculous. Everything that’s happening on the show has happened several times before, and I’m bored. Thank goodness Mrs. Logan and Aaron will be back, but I doubt for very long. Heck, I’m actually giddy that Ricky Schroeder will make an appearance soon, too, if only to provide ANYTHING different. Gack.
Another flaw in this episode. Why didn’t Bauer just grab the commie’s cell and check out the call list? Duh!
