24: Hour 16
April 3rd, 2007I’m still not convinced Milo isn’t dirty. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’m wondering if his little gaffe involving the security parameters wasn’t done intentionally. We’ll see.
Tom Lennox is quite the conniver. I think the show’s writers have done a good job with his character.
I am with you on Milo. There was a camera shot of him last night that I think gave him away. You could tell that he knew that his wanna be girlfriend had been on his machine. He is riding dirty, no two ways about it.
Tom Lennox is hard to figure. I think he really is loyal to the USA, but I can’t tell if his moves are designed to cover his own assets or what. I can’t wait for him to expose Noah as a conspirator in the president’s attack.
On my site I wrote about the on again/off again movie project of 24.
If I watched the previews correctly, are they going to kill off Jack next week? Or is he going to have on a bullet proof vest?
No, he’ll get shot in the arm, rub some dirt on it, and move on.
“No, he’ll get shot in the arm, rub some dirt on it, and move on.”
I agree, Jason.
1) “Killing Jack Bauer doesn’t make him dead. It just makes him angry.”
2) “When the boogie man goes to sleep, he checks his closet for Jack Bauer.”
3) “Guns dont kill people, Jack Bauer kills people.”
BTW, is Wayne just jacked up on adrenaline or what? Weird ending.
Think I saw the Fonz jumping a shark off of Santa Monica pier. OK last nights episode was not that bad, but annoying. Oh wait I need to reorder the attack I just cancled because I dont want to look weak in front of the VP or the Cabinet. Chase wants his arm and plot back. Another filler episode that the writers pulled out of their backsides.
This has been a disappointing season all around, in my opinion. The Tom Lennox character one of the highlights, but here are some beefs…
- they’ve stolen from themselves with this President/VP back and forth (season 2)
- like steve b said… “Chase wants his arm and plot back” (season 3)
- and what of Chloe O’Brian? Her only job this season seems to be to check the breath of her ex-husband/current boyfriend. They need to redeem her character this season by having her gun down some terrorists again (I wouldn’t mind them borrowing from themselves for that)
This was another filler episode. Too many of them this season. I fear the shark has been jumped.
I’ve seen a few episodes of this programme. It seems pretty good. I don’t think I’ve come across any foul language, or filthy scenes of immorality. However, I haven’t ‘got into it’ if you know what I mean. It’s on over here in Oz on a Wed night, but I don’t know if it’s the same series as you are watching.
Yes, I agree, it seems this will be the tamest 24 yet, unless they’ve got something spectacular planned for the ending hours.
In other news, I just got 24: The Game for PS2 and I am astounded. It’s just as addictive as the show. You get to decrypt, encrypt, hack, shoot, interrogate, drive, and lots of other stuff I haven’t gotten to yet. I haven’t gotten to torture anyone yet, so it’s a little tame on that end. It is LOADS of fun! Go get it, if you are so inclined.
24 is still the best show on tv, and in many ways tame. However, a nuke exploding in LA is pretty intense, Curtis getting killed by his friend, and Jack pulling a John Wayne by raiding the Russian embassy.
Steve B, Palmer got all tough because of the adrenaline shots the doc has been giving him. It increased his testosterone level, and made him super competitive. They’ll probably explain it all when they cover it on I Shouldn’t Be Alive.
Ok…so it has just come on and Jack is being held captive by Russians. Other than that I’m a little lost!
Oh…and it’s between 6-7pm.
The adrenanline shots did it!!!!, thanks Jason K.
I still like the show and agree its still one of the best out there. I know its fiction and we have to suspend some sense of reality. I just get frustrated sometimes because it seems like the writers are trying to hard to out do a previous season. Hey lets see if the fans buy this plot twist.
Or, it’s all a ruse to trick the enemy in thinking he launched the missiles.
Naahhhh, it’s the drugs.
I agree that the creative pool is drying up.
