24: Hour 18

April 17th, 2007

Noah Daniels has more lives than Bill Clinton. He’s the Teflon Vice President.

Jack goes rogue next week. Should be interesting.

Did anyone else notice that at the beginning of the show Jack was told that the military was taking over by Presidential order, and then 5 minutes later the President learned that Jack had taken the nukes. Did I follow that wrong, or was that a goof up?

  2. No, it was probably a set-up from the beginning. Jack is still on loan from the Chinese and the American Government probably will return Jack back through the use of Audrey and the chip. Wayne Palmer in episode 1 made arrangements with the Cheng and the Chinese. Knowing Jack will not go willingly back to the Chinese, the Chinese used Audrey as bait.

  3. Paul, I thought that they sent the military in under the order of the Defense Dept. I stress the I think part. I thought that this was pretty good as far as transitional episodes go. However, I think that more Jack and more fighting is always better.

  4. Tom says:

My mom is visiting and as I was watching she was as well. She didn’t know what 24 was and asked are all episodes this good? We might be jaded as we’ve seen better but I guess even what we call mediocre is pretty good to the uninitiated.

I knew Palmer would collapse at the news conference. That was pretty evident the way the episode unfolded.

Anyone else bored with the CTU scenes? Bill Buchanan has all the personality of a turnip.
