24: Hour 22

May 14th, 2007

Tonight’s episode was one of the better ones from the past few weeks, I thought.

Lisa Miller was sure a lousy actor. You’d think, given the circumstances, that she could have put on a better show than what she did — especially since she had lots of practice doing so with the VP.

I’m glad to see that Bill Buchanan will be back next week. Any predictions for what’s going to happen?

My wife pointed out that what happened with Lisa was exactly what happened with Sen. Palmer’s aid in season 1. The only difference was her weapon of choice was not nearly as effective.

I think the episode was so good because it was finally Jack being Jack. We have been waiting for him to go off on a terrorist or the Chinese for quite a few episodes now. It finally happened.

  2. Will we have a big showdown between Jack and daddy? Glad to see Tom lennox not be as big a weasel as when he started out with baby brother Palmer as prez.

I think Jack is going to open up a can on Ricky Shreoder for stealing his son and handing him over to grandad. Ricky is going to pay.
I wonder if dad won’t be back for next season. He is a great actor, and it would be a great plot for next season.
My house, 6:30, Monday. Bring food, preferably dead animals that we can put on the grill. And something to drink, perhaps a certain drink brewed out along Highway 95 near Shiner, Texas. I will supply the show, minus commercials.

    Here’s an idea, Tim.

Host a final four discuscussion over who would win in a fight to the death between these four action studs who all have the initials J.B.: Jason Bourne (Bourne Identity/Supremacy/Ultimatum), James Bond (007), Jack Bauer (24), and Col. James Braddock (Missing in Action I, II, & III).
