24: Hours 8-9

February 12th, 2007

An intense two hours tonight. Any theories or predictions about what will happen next?

  1. I am thinking that the kid (forget his name) will either shoot his grandfather or act all chickfied until Jack shoots him.

I also think that tremor in Jack’s hand is going to cause a major, major screwup somewhere soon.

I think that the FBI director is being set up by the Prez and friends of Karen Hayes. He is going to get caught with his pants down to his ankles, and there won’t be a thing he can do. Karen will be back to advise the president.

I think Milo is going to emerge as a big time hero as a result of him saving the girls life last night.

I think Morris will be vindicated, that he somehow, someway put a bug into that program so the nukes will not really go off.

I think last night was the best night so far this season. Very intense!

I think I cannot wait until next Monday.

  3. Y’all,

Finally the slowness of 24 has picked up speed. I was surprised that Jack’s dad revealed his secret idenity as a evil man so soon. I thought it was weird that Chloe has blueprints of the bomb in the less than a minute and then be able to Jack which buttons to push. Does all bombs come with blueprints? Does all bombmakers register their design on the internet so the NSA and CTU can figure it out?

Originally, did they have 5 bombs or 4? Okay, one blown up in the suburb of LA, the other one Jack dismantled. Is there 3 or 2 left? In last night’s episode, some of the character’s said 3 others 4? Well, how many is left?

I think Jack will endure some more torture before 6am possibly at the hands of his dad.

  4. jasonk says:

There were originally five bombs, one went off in suburbia. Then there were four.

The fourth bomb was dimantled by Jack last night, now there are three.

Fayad took bomb number three into the helicopter with him, leaving two in the mysterious red Ford van (vehicle of choice by terrorists everywhere).

The confusion came in that the government was uncertain how many bombs were remaining, but when Jack took care of number four, they knew there were still three left.

  5. Here are two interesting reviews from episodes 8-9.

What do you think of them?

I predict that Jack will not eat food and use the bathroom until after 6am.

  6. Jeremy says:

Hey Paul, how is Mr. Letterman? I’m surprised you have time through the week to be posting on blogs with the taping of the show and all. Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to wax philosophic on 24.

  7. Jeremy,

Like I said, what’s with all the bald people on 24?
