Judge now wants only $54 million for lost pants
June 6th, 2007A few weeks ago, I wrote about Roy Pearson, a judge who is suing a cleaners over a pair of lost pants. While Pearson originally was seeking $67 million in the lawsuit, he now wants “only” $54 million.
Really nice of him to reduce his demands to only $54 million. What a swell guy.
I said it before, and I’ll say it again. Pearson should be disbarred and removed from office for this, and there should be laws that prevent this kind of stuff.
You could almost understand $30 mil for a pair of pants, but $54 mil…..
sheesh.
I wonder why such a great sign of compassion from this judge? What an idiot! I agree Tim he should be disbarred and fined several milllion for being a jerk.
A pair of pants???
No. Really.
A pair of pants?
If this lawsuit went to trial and I were presiding over “The Honorable” (cough cough sputter sputter) Judge Pearson’s case, I’d banish him to Antarctica for 25-to-life with NO PANTS!!!!
