   there weren’t thermometers 12,000 years ago, only empty glass tubes that had yet to evolve the ability to uptake mercury from the environment…

   You know, they are correct. Since the Earth didn’t exist 12,000 years ago it has to be warmer now.

   The scientific method cannot be used to determine what happened in the past since we cannot create an experiment to test such a hypothesis.

   Scientists have imaginations just like all the rest of us. Unfortunately they sometimes employ them under the mantle of science.

   Great point Chuck… guys if you want to see an evolutionist lose his cool, tell him the earth is a few thou years old, it’s quite amazing to watch… to watch a person who claims to go by nothing but logic and reason, all of a sudden be engulfed with murderous rage is a very enlightening experience…

   So what exactly were those cavemen doing to cause global warming 12,000 years ago? Or was it all due to mammoth flatulence? And how can we blame that on Bush?

   I for one honestly don’t even think there was an earth 12,000 years ago. But hey, that’s just me.
