2006 baseball predictions — AL Central and West
March 31st, 2006I don’t see any reason why the Chicago White Sox can’t repeat in the AL Central. Cleveland has lost some key players, Minnesota’s offense is weak and Detroit — nah. Kansas City isn’t even worth mentioning.
As for the AL West, I’ll go with Oakland to win the division. The A’s have a solid starting rotation with some promising young arms.
Tim, we keep agreeing on the winners. I have the A’s and Sox as well. I took a big hit today at VFTB for my NL Central picks. Check it out and join the tar and feather brigade!
Tom, I swear I haven’t looked at your picks when making mine. Although, after your NL Central picks, I may have to re-think some of my other predictions that match up with yours.
True. I wouldn’t blame you. Now let’s think about this. As a Cubs fan I put 90% of my sweat into the Central Division. The others I couldn’t care less about. So maybe I’m not being very objective when it comes to the Cubs etc. I am very disappointd in the pitching situation and Cedeno probably won’t pan out. Good luck to your Cardinals. Could I be ever any more insincere than that? Hardly!
