Boras blames Cardinals for losing Weaver

January 31st, 2007

Why do I always feel the need to take a shower when I read comments by Scott Boras? Is there a bigger sleazebag in sports?

what exactly was it he said that made you feel that way? I did not read anything out of line.

Oh, it’s just the same old stuff from Boras, who always thinks his players are worth more than they are. If Weaver really wanted to stay in St. Louis so badly, I don’t see how a two-year deal worth $12 million is “not even close” to the deal he signed with Seattle. All winter it was supposed to be about stability for Weaver. But the Cardinals offer more stability than Seattle does, and what does Weaver do? He takes the money — which is what all of Boras’ clients always do.

Just another genious move by the M’s—

I hope they enjoy a rotation of

    Horacio Rameriez
    Jarrod Washburn
    Jeff Weaver
    Felix Hernandez

and who is that trotting out of the bullpen—-Its Chris Reitsma

But thats ok as long as they have the wildy overpaid Adrian Beltre and Richie Sexson anchoring the offense…..

oh, and don’t we just love our GM - Mr. Boob…er…Bob Bavasi himself - a favorite of M’s fans everywhere…

*sulks off to continue groaning in freakish misery…..*
