    Tim,

As a guy who has coached a lot of baseball I would like to commend you on your form. Two Hands no matter what.

  2. It’s great playing with your kids in the yard, especially when you have a dog.

It adds that “obstacle course” element to every game you play!

And thanks to you, your son will never have to go through a “Field of Dreams” experience.

“Hey dad, you wanna have a catch?”

    Tim,

Wow! Baseball! I remember as a kid in the early 70’s, when baseball still had (..wow… whats the word i’m looking for…..em) heart. Idealic,,,maybe.

I would play ball in the summer literally all day, it never got boring, but then MLB took the life out of its own sport. Now kids seem to be groomed from infanthood.

I love teaching ball, and I do teach my 6 yr olds team. Teaching ball is still about three things…. 1. Catch the ball, 2. Throw the ball, 3. Hit the ball.

Just a little rant, but thanks for the refreshed mental image of how fun and full of life playing ball can be.

    In Christ,

    Alex

  5. How much you wanna bet Tim didn’t catch that throw?

Yeah, gotta admit the scene from Click entered my mind - briefly, dad pauses time to lower the cocky kid’s glove so that when he presses Play, the ball smacks cocky kid in the face.

  8. Chris says:

You better get that kid throwing southpaw while there’s still time.

    Great picture! : )
