MNF nightmare
December 10th, 2007With three weeks left in the season and many teams pressing for playoff spots, we’re saddled with a Monday night game of New Orleans vs. Atlanta tonight. Could there possibly be a bigger yawner of a game?
Nice move, NFL.
Who can stomach Kornheiser anyway? Not me.
I actually don’t mind Kornheiser too much. I liked his morning show much better the Cowherd. He is not great on MNF, but he is better than Dennis Miller. They will never beat the trio of Cossel, Gifford, and Merideth.
Uck. Cowherd. Don’t get me started.
I’m no Kornheiser fan either, but I prefer him to Cowherd.
I think Kornheiser is OK, I just wish they’d ditch the celebrity interviews during the game.
Also, while some sort of flexible scheduling for MNF would be nice, the NFL should have seen this lousy matchup coming well before the season started.
Take heart, though - next week you can tune in and watch Adrian Peterson put up 300 rushing yards on the Bears!
I seem to recall the rumor a few years ago that the NFL was going to wait until a certain point in the week to determine what the Monday night game would be as to avoid games just like this. Does anyone else remember hearing something like that?
No.
Cowherd did talk me into buying a Vizio TV, they are a good value. But I didn’t get it from BJ’s or Costco.
I didn’t know it was possible to talk about Michael Vick for an entire hour. Am I the only one in America that is sick and tired of this story? Enough already!
One great reason to not watch last night, Joel. With such a boring matchup, I knew that the Vick story would dominate the game.
Tim, is it the NFL that makes the decision for MNF or is it ABC/ESPN or a collaborative one?
Who knew it would be Petrino’s last game coaching the Falons? Who could they possibly get to coach this team now that Petrino’s gone to the Razorbacks?
