So what’s going on with baseball and steroids?
February 13th, 2008I have absolutely no idea what’s happening with baseball and steroids these days. What’s going on with Clemens, Pettitte, etc.? Can someone enlighten me?
I do know that the Cardinals pitchers and catchers report tomorrow. Music to my ears.
I didn’t watch the hearing today, but Jayson Stark live-blogged the event. I read that and I feel like I’m somewhat caught up to speed on everything:

Not sure on baseball, but UK got spanked like a little whipping boy by Vandy. When I say spanked, I mean more like they got their manhood stripped from them and they will have to wear little pink dressess for the rest of their college basketball careers.

In summation of all that is going on with baseball, Roger Clemens created the word “misremembered” when describing a conversation between himself and Andy Pettitte regarding steroids to the Congressional committee.
BTW, is anyone else angry that our tax dollars are going to investigate this nonsense? Why is this a government issue? Oh well…thankfully spring training starts tomorrow and we can move on to bigger and better things!

What’s this I hear about steroids, baseball, and my tax dollars…..I had no idea!
We covet you prayers in southern Illinois today. A very thick layer of ice on Monday has caused wide spread electrical outages. While most folks in town (Anna, IL) have had power restored, folks in the outlying rural areas may be several days more without electricity. Pray for the line crew workers who have been working unbelievably long hours and those that have traveled long distances to come and help out (I spoke with a gentleman from Peoria yesterday who came here to work).
