I’m really glad to hear that Summerall found the Lord. He was always one of my favorite announcers, but I knew he had a serious drinking problem. I’m glad things are different now.
This shows that no matter who you are, well-known or not, our greatest need is to be reconciled to God through His Son Jesus Christ. In his prime, he was THE play-by-play voice of the NFL, first on CBS and then on Fox. And now, he has the assurance of eternal salvation. Praise be to God!
