Evidently too many Fed Ex employees over the past few years have thought they deserved a holiday on the Monday after the Super Bowl.

Typical FedEx Express memo. I’ve seen hundreds of similar “purple promise”, “team” brainwashing memos over the past 19 years that I’ve worked for FedEx.
Sadly, the “FedEx team” atmosphere does not exist, nor has it ever existed in the workplace, due in large part to the stringent stops per hour requirements placed upon the couriers. Long, boring story…..
