   I thought Whitlock’s column was brilliant when I read it a few weeks back. And it’s had an effect already. The week after it debuted, Chad Johnson swore off TD dances until the Bengals get a winning record. Judging by the team’s recent success, I think he may be waiting for a good while.

   So when the Bengals were winning all those games, the dances were funny. Now that they are losing they are “a distraction”.

   I don’t know. I like Whitlock and I think he has some points here but something about this strikes me as just not right.
