Time for more baseball
October 11th, 2007I got three of my four picks in the divisional series right. The Rockies over the Phillies was the one I missed. Time now for the LCS. Tony is having a little contest over at his blog, so be sure to join in (misawa and I won the first round, but only because Tony was gracious enough not to award himself with the prize).
My picks:
D’backs in 6
Indians in 7
Sox in 6
Rockies in 7
A little story for you guys: We lived in CT for about 5 years and happened to be in Boston on the day of Ted Williams Memorial event at Fenway. My eight year old’s earliest memory, at 3 years and 3 months, is sitting in the visitors dugout of Fenway with me, posing for a picture. She is a 5th generation Red Sox fan.
Rockies and Indians both in 6. I too had 3 of 4 in the Divisonal Series, missing the Phillies (who I had going to the Series).
I’m really more interested in the Cards’ GM and Manager search than the baseball on the field, sadly enough.
I’ll stick with my original predictions which are cot and pasted below:

Rockies will win tonight….and then beat the Phillies.
The Diamondbacks will beat the Cubs
The Rockies will beat the D’backs
Red Sox over the Angels in a great series
Indians over Yankees
Red Sox over Indians
Rockies over Red Sox in seven
….easy for me to say, but not spell…it should have read “cut” and pasted.
Rockies in 5
Indians in 7
By the way, I’m in absolute shock mode right now - Schuerholz is no longer the Braves’ GM…I don’t know what to think…
I lost interest after the first weekend of the playoffs. (Were the Cubs actually IN the playoffs? I feel like I blinked and missed them!)
OK, my picks:
Rockies in 7
Red Sox in 5
World Series: Red Sox in 4 … just like when they swept the Cardinals!
Oh yeah, WS picks…
Indians over the Rockies in 6.
